Text of Complaint by Abhishek Satardekar:

On 2nd Feb 2020 i had recharged Vodafone number for Rs 4695 for 28 days which had 10gb & 50 sms free but on using 3gb got a message saying only 306.87 mb is left out of 3072 mb (which is 3gb)

On dialling *121# it showed 6 gb still left and to reconfirm i called the customer care executive they also said 6 gb left. 

But soon on using 306 mb the net stopped working tried calling the customer care several times, they said 6 gb left and you need to change the settings. Later, was also charged for sms and my balance went down to negative. On calling several times some settings were made such that i wasn’t able to connect to the executive. And got a call from their end again with the same solution to change the settings. And on asking why was i unable to connect they ask me to call from some other vodafone number. I also did that, as soon as i gave the details of my number, the call was just hung up by the executive. And soon was unable to call from other number also.

Later i tried complaining via emails, i would send them an email today and they would reply day after, which wasted my days, had net only for 10 days. And i recharged my number since balance was negative, and net started working was again charged for the net, till the balance went down to zero an again net stopped working. And on email the executive reverted that since your balance is negative you are unable to use the service, whereas balance went down to negative only because i was incorrectly charged and recharging also balance was deducting.

i complained on consumer forum app, and i got calls saying you will get refund of Rs. 20 for the incorrect charges on sms, i asked what about the entire pack not being used? They kept calling later got a call saying we will refund the entire amount but in the form of recharge since i didn’t wanted to continue using vodafone, i asked for amount refund in my bank. And the case was forwarded to appellate team, there they said we will refund Rs. 1 for incorrect charges on sms, which was false. And now they dragged the case till now, and now they say that we don’t have details for more than a month and can’t check the details, and entire pack was used, i asked for the numbers of data usage but there is no answer. And just getting troubled since 6 months but no resolution.
