My father has vodafone service- 9920170596. He was travelling for a holiday in Dubai and for the same i had activated the 7 day international service . within an hour of activating it, my dad had confirmed another alternative sim he got from the airport for roaming which would suffice his need. I immediately called vodafone helpline and asked them if i can cancel the services and whether i would be charged. The customer helpline executive assured that no charges would be deducted as i have immediately cancelled it and my father was still in india. she did confirm that the amount might get reflected in the bill and i would need to wait till they adjust it in the next bill. its been 3 months of constant assurance ( for first 1.5 months) on getting it adjusted and post that i am asked to make the payment and my connections have been cut. the mobile no is my dad’s registered number for pension. the kind of calls they are making on my alternative number is also making my dad extremely troubled.
