Text of Complaint by Gaurav:

Respected Sir/Ma’am,

I bought a (Realme brand) LED TV from Flipkart and Paid Rs. 21,749/-
Order confirmed – 5th Aug 23
Product Received – 7th Aug 23
Installation engineer visit – 8th Aug 23

(1) Before delivery i received message from Flipkart that your product is open Box Delivery. so, pls check 3 things before taking delivery, for that reason customer cannot return the product later on due to 3 reason.
a. Any Physical Damage
b. Any Missing accessories
c. Any wrong delivery

(2) Second message i received from Flipkart that during and after receiving the delivery, do not turn on the TV until engineer come for installation.

(3) On 7th Aug, I received the delivery and i have verified the TV for any physical damage and without turning on, i kept aside and waited for installation.

(4) On 8th October, Engineer came for Installation, and for that he has started the TV and we found that TV screen started Linings and gradually it spreads over half screen.

(5) Realme engineer did not installed the TV and packed again into the Box.

(6) Engineer suggested that return the TV to Flipkart seller has sent you the TV which is pre damage from internally and brand realme cannot help you into this.

(7) The issue in the TV screen was unidentifiable while taking the delivery as per Flipkart message to not to turn on the TV otherwise warranty will not be given.

(8) In this case seller has sent defective piece and cheated to customer.

(9) Since 8th Aug I have communicated with brand realme and Flipkart both.

(10) Both Were blaming to each other and asking to contact to them. I have contacted several times to both parties with various channels phone, email and text message support.

(11) Relame denied to provide the replacement of product and also denied to provide DOA (Dead on Arrival) Letter. It has also denied to provide Job sheet for the same. But later on after having long discussion they have provided me Job Sheet Number.

(12) Earlier during the 7 days replacement period, Flipkart asked me Job sheet number and assured me to help. As requested by Flipkart i have provided the Job sheet number to Flipkart to proceed further but after completion of 7 days replacement period, Flipkart denied to help and asked to contact Relame only as 7 days replacement period completed.

(13) Later On 14th Aug, 23, at 10:25 Flipkart confessed that your product is eligible to Return and confirmed me that they will Recreate the Return option for me.

Note: I have the call Recording of that conversation in which member of Senior Team of Flipkart has accepted that your TV is eligible to Return and on call hold she has communicated with seller and confirmed me that Seller has approved your TV for Return)

(14) That Senior member told that due to technical glitch, she is not able to create the Return option in Flipkart application, so she is raising one request to create Return option and committed that Team will call and assist you for Return your product Within 24 hours.

(15) After that i have waited and after 2 days i received call from Flipkart and communicated that you cannot retrun the TV as it was open box delivery and you had to verify the internal damage.
(If Flipkart told that TV should not be turn on untill the engneer come and without turning on it how can we verify the internal issue of the TV)

(16) When i am complaining to Flipkart, They are registering the complaint and everytime asking to wait for 72 hours and wait for call from backend team. Later on they are closing the complaint by thier own without asking my concern.

(17) I need to Return the TV and want my money paid at the time of purchase as well as the compensation for which mental harassment i suffered.

(18) I bought this TV for my father aged 70 years old who is living aloan. He do not have the any option to spend his time without TV. But now i am worried about my money as they are not providing my money back.
