I had purchased an MI TV on 8th June from Flipkart after paying 24,999 which
includes 23,499 for TV and 1,499 for an additional 3 years warranty. On booking I
was promised delivery will be done on 12th June and installation will be done on
13th June. MI TV delivery happened as per Schedule i.e. on 12th June. But
installation never happened till now. I have got a series of dates for installation
starting from 13th, Then 17th, then 18th then 24th and now still counting and even
after more than 20 days from booking no one in flipkart is either aware when my
issue will be resolved.
I tried contacting through app support, customer care call support and through
twitter. The best thing is I received only below common reply:
1) Chirag we will contact you through email or call and update you regarding the
status of your issue. – Trust me till date no one has contacted me.
2) Chirag we understand we are taking long to revert but have patience we are
working and your issue will be resolved on priority. – nothing happened till now.
3) We have escalated your issue and our team is looking into it – If the escalation
issue takes more than 15 days for resolution do you think Flipkart have a good
system in place.
4) We are working with our partner to resolve the issue. – Totally false, Installation
Partner Jeeves doesn’t have any request from Flipkart about installation and
Jeeves confirmed Flipkart has not raised any ticket for the same.
Till now no one from Flipkart has contacted me on call and neither sent me any
mail regarding the issue and its resolution. I might have called many times but
their customer care team is so bookish and pathetic instead of understanding and
listening to customer issues and trying to help they have only one answer sir have
patience issues will be resolved as per the timeline. If you call on the day of
commitment customer care team will have one thing to answer sir, wait till 9 PM
the issue will be resolved and after 7 PM no one picks the call in Flipkart. Once i
got a reply from one of the lady Sir here it is mentioned the issue will be solved
today and so it might get resolved till 11:59 PM so you need to wait till that time.
Whenever you call the Customer care team they will first try to delay the response
as much as possible and will play football with you. I was told the delay is from
Jeeves side so I contacted Jeeves customer care thrice, Jeeves searched their
system through my Mobile number and my order ID but didn’t find any request.
Trust me I found Jeeves customer care more sensible and helpful they told me the
process followed by Flipkart for installation. After getting fed up from Flipkart on
19th June I took Shivam from Flipkart Customer Care and Krishna from Jeeves
Customer Care on a conference call they both spoke to each other after
deliberation Shivam understood there is big goof up from Flipkart only so he
apologised Jeeves and told me sir we will resolve your issue on high priority and
give me 48 hours to resolution. But till now no solution and I feel no solution is available with entire team of Flipkart.

Further I even offered the customer care team to give me permission to install by myself but they said then they will not be able to provide any type of warranty. If you are not able to provide service then you should grant permission to the customer to install by himself.
I request Flipkart to provide any of the below resolution:
1) Cancel the order and Refund me my money or
2) Get the installation done on priority or
3) Allow me installation by myself along with 3 years of extended warranty (Amount already paid along with purchase of product).
