Dear All,

This is regarding the deactivation of my Vodafone account with immediate effect. Below are the details.

The total amount due for the month of Sep’18 is INR 2234/-. The incorrect charges of international roaming INR 1611/- have also been incurred in the bill. Since I don’t avail the international roaming facility; my daughter had called the customer care center yesterday to inquire about the charges and requested them to provide the copy of the itemized bill as we have not received the hard copy of the bill yet.

We have also discussed the matter with your customer service executive – Anurag Singh and, Floor Manager – Rahul Bhardwaj, however, we are amazed and highly disappointed to hear the response. Instead of resolving the issue, we were told to pay the entire amount.

I’ve been using this connection from last 17 yrs. However, charging exorbitant amount every month and expecting your customers to pay for the services they have not availed is unacceptable and unethical. This is clearly a system generated error; or misuse of current connection. In both cases, we should not bear the cost.

We, therefore, would not like to retain the connection and would request you to deactivate the account and services with immediate effect. Would also like to highlight that I’ve already paid INR 500/- on Sep 24th and settled the remaining amount INR 1800/- today.

Thank you for not helping us and for providing the best customer service. I wonder, how would you retain your existing customers if you are not willing to help?
