Dear All,

I am HDFCBank Fastag user.

I have been facing a problem with my fastag since 29/12/2019 of amount getting debited incorrectly at Entry as well as Exit point of Toll Booths.

It is nowhere written on HDFC Fastag’s website https://fastag.hdfcbank.com/ about the documents to be submitted for refund. All the time I have followed with Customer care number 18001201243 but every time people provide with me an incorrect information.

Today to my surprise when I called them, customer care representative Sanjay Yadav & Danish Ansari asked me to mention my Wallet ID & Customer ID over the email (which was never told me to mention).

Below is the chronology of events happened with me.

1. Date : 29/12/2019

Route : Nashik – Mumbai

Entry Point: Toll deducted at Ghoti Toll Naka – Rs. 110/- Time (SMS Received) – 21:36:32 IST

Exit Point: Toll deducted at Arjunalli Toll Naka – Rs. 110/- Time (SMS Received) – 22:47:17 IST

2. Date : 01/01/2020

Route : Mumbai – Nashik

Entry Point: Toll deducted at Arjunalli Toll Naka – Rs. 110/- Time (SMS Received) – 15:52:09 IST

Exit Point: Toll deducted at Ghoti Toll Naka – Rs. 110/- Time (SMS Received) – 17:19:16 IST

3. Date 29/01/2020

Route: Mumbai – Pune

Entry Point: Khalapur Toll Naka did not detected my Fastag, so I paid the toll by CASH Rs. 230/-. After few minutes I also received an SMS of amount getting deducted of Rs. 173

Exit Point: Talegaon Toll Naka, the remaining amount of Rs. 57/- was also deducted.

4. Date 30/01/2020

Route : Mumbai – Nashik

Entry Point: Toll deducted at Arjunalli Toll Naka – Rs. 110/- Time (SMS Received) – 07:55:28 IST

Exit Point: Toll deducted at Ghoti Toll Naka – Rs. 110/- Time (SMS Received) – 09:21:47 IST

5. Date 03/02/2020

Received a SMS from HDFCBank stating that Rs. 275/- has been debited from Fastag Account for Manual Adjustment.

Received another SMS from HDFCBank stating that Rs. 110/- has been credited to Fastag Account for Manual Adjustment.

Upon checking the wallet for the statement I found that the above Rs. 110/- were reversed again which has made my Wallet Balance 0 (ZERO) & OD Amount as Rs. 148/-.

I have also sent multiple emails to fastag.hdfcbank@insolutionsglobal.com but received no response from them.

Because of these incorrect deductions I have to refill my wallet very frequently & a painful exercise, which also charges me Rs. 9/- as a convenience charges for every recharge.

No one is keen to help or show me any documentation of DO’s & Don’ts.

I am attaching my wallet statement for your reference.
