I had taken International roaming from Vodafone on23rd March 2022 for Rs 4499 for 14 days for Egypt. I landed in Egypt on 23rd March 2022 and since than have been struggling to get Vodafone network. I could not even connect with my family in India and after lot of attempt finally could fine a complaint in Vodafone India via Complaint no C004-129834860902 on 24th March 2022.
Post which somebody named Mohammed Saif Ali No 9962745228 contacted me on whatsapp introducing himself from Network team. He advised me to try few things like networking settings, switch on/switch mobile, putting sim again etc ect. i tried everything but could not register to the Vodafone network. I had to finally purchase a new local Vodafone SIM in Eqypt and instructed Mohammed Saif to cancel the roaming plan. He confirmed that he will do the needful but it seems that the plan never got cancelled.On 6th April 2022 i returning to India i again called the call center to check if the roaming charges got reversed but i told No. i explained the entire matter to them and filed another complain via Complain No C004-130275970664 on 6th April 2022 with promise to resolve by 9th April 2022.
Today on 17th April 2022 when i again call the center i am told that their backend team tried reaching multiple times but could not. i told them i got no call and if you could not reach me you should have dropped me an SMS or email.
I am a Vodafone customer for over 2 decades and not happy with the way i am treated. Pls intervene and assist in providing refund of my charges of Rs 4499 pls GST.
