I am Preeti Kala with Vodafone number +91 9962147755. I would like to communicate an issue with the bill generated for the billing period – From: 12th August 2018 To:11th September 2018; and also the current billing cycle. During this period, I had travelled to Japan. Before I had travelled, I had called up Vodafone customer care to activate International’s Roaming. I was told the cost was Rs.149 to activate the International roaming and also Incoming was free. I was also informed of other plans (like 3999 etc). My only requirement was to have incoming, hence I had asked to activate Rs.149 Plan.
Later when my bill got generated, I was shocked to see the bill had crossed Rs.20000. Then I had called up customer care and they had explained incoming was charged. I don’t feel this is fair. If the customer care agent had communicated clearly to me I would have chosen some other plan which would fit my needs.
I would like to request you to look into this and let me know what could be done for this.
