Text of Complaint by Rahul Saraswat:

Hi, My bill for mobile no: 8882743620 for the month of April was sent incorrect by Vodafone as my plan is of 299 and maximum bill in all past months is b/w 200 to 350 rs. April month’s bill was 1100 Rs.
How ridiculous it was that there is 798 Rs VAS charges added in my bill for April month.
I tried to call Vodafone customer service number two-three times but problem didn’t solve. They told me that a 60 minutes call has been done from my mobile phone to a SPECIAL number.

Seriously?

I even don’t have 10-15 minutes to call my loved ones due to my busy schedule and work load, As due to Covid-19 problem I’m managing my office team and all work from Home, But according to these Vodafone thieves I called a special number for 60 minutes.
This is completely unacceptable as I never called any such special number from my phone.
These type of issue were also happened 1-2 years back and due to these incorrect bills I shifted to Airtel last year but unfortunately due to network problem in my area I couldn’t continue with Airtel.
And on the request of one Vodafone executive who comes often in our office, I again joined Vodafone.
The charges of any type of special call from my number are completely wrong and incorrect.
So i requested Vodafone customer care to correct my bill as soon as possible and ensure that these type of issues should not occur in future. I also wrote emails to them (attaching snapshot of email) but no solution yet.
Also right now they are calling and threatening me to discontinue my number’s services if i’ll not pay their illegal charges. This is completely a theft on my pocket and i dont wanna bear this at any cost. Illegal is Illegal.

I know Vodafone company in India is in heavy debt and even struggling to pay AGR dues and its operations are also running under pressure but this is not the way to correct their balance sheet by looting customers like me via sending these heavy incorrect/illegal bills.

I hope you’ll take deliver this complain to Vodafone officials and may take appropriate actions over email i sent them and send me revised bill ASAP.
