I, Dinesh Sharma, Vodafone mobile number user 9930936290 bought a time bound UK roaming package which expired on 7th Sep 2018. Before this package I did not have any international roaming on my number nor I had consented for same. My consent was limited to this International roaming package which expired on 7th Sep 2018. However, without my consent, the international roaming was kept live by Vodafone which resulted in charges of Rs 5006/- for a single day of 8th Sep 2018. I have been told by nodal and appellate authority of Vodafone that the international roaming is kept live as per vodafone internal policy and for deactivation of same I should have applied. This is an unfair practice by Vodafone. My consent was limited to the package i bought and Vodafone cannot charge me for roaming beyond my consent period and should have deactivated international roaming on expiry of package.
