Hello,
I am living in Europe and settled in Denmark. Before coming here in February from India, I ported my cellular connection to Airtel.
I use the service for basic transactions for receiving OTP on my number. Before porting request, i explained my requirement clearly to the service agent in Airtel store clearly before activation and he assured me monthly bill of 400 including taxes without any usage.
However, now that i received the bills of February and Month, the bill amount is 1200 for each of the month i.e. 2400 INR.
They have activated International roaming data services on my number and whenever i activate my sim for any OTP, it used the mobile data in background which has shoot up this bill amount.
This is something done without even my consent. I clearly stated my requirement to be used only for incoming messages (OTP) and never asked to activate any kind of international roaming service except for incoming messages.
And now customer care services are not assuring me any kind of help. I have called them numerous times and they have assured me call back from senior customer executive but i have received none.
I also tried to approach service agent who activated my SIM but he is not answering my calls either. He works in Airtel gallery store(Ulhasnagar -3 branch) and his name is Chandan.
