Respected Team,
This is Viraj and the Amazon account is under my wife’s name Jigna Dhorda. The order was too delivered under my wife’s name.
This is in regard to my order #171-1786738-8441116 with Amazon, which was delivered on the 1st of January, 2023. I had ordered Pampers combo pack of 144 pieces.
I regularly order Pampers for my baby from Amazon of a Combo pack of 108 pieces and I have always received the package complete and intact. The Combo pack of 108 pieces comes in one Pampers cardboard box which has the dimension/capacity containing JUST 3 packs of Pamper of 36 diapers which is 108 pieces
This time I saw a new combo pack of 144 pieces which I thought would be more cost-effective. I got the same cardboard box which has capacity/dimensions of caring just 3 packs of pampers pack of 36 each. However, that too was NOT as heavy as if it had 3 packs of pampers. The delivery boy took the OTP and went away, I was assuming it would be a partial delivery. When I opened the box there were just 2 packs of Pampers of 36 pieces each (72 pieces). This means I received just 72 pieces INSTEAD of 144 pieces. I immediately took a photo (attached) of the box and invoice and contacted customer care. The customer care advised me to hold on until the delivery is not marked “COMPLETED”
When the delivery was marked “COMPLETED”, I immediately contacted Amazon customer care and informed them about the situation. Customer care gave me the date 6th January, 2023 to wait for the inspection to conclude. On 7th January I contacted customer care and I was informed that the inspection was concluded and I was delivered a complete product (144 Pieces).
If the inspection was done, which I am sure was not done or maybe was not done honestly here is how I can challenge the same –
1. If the box had just 2 packs of 36 pieces each (Delivery of 72 Pieces) –
a. I have kept the box with me. This is the same dimension/Capacity box in which I used to get 3 packs (36 in each – 108 Pieces) which DOES NOT have the dimension/capacity of fitting more than 3 packs (36 in each – 108 Pieces)
b. The Amazon team may have not checked the weight of the box that was delivered to me during the inspection, because if they did, they would have come to know that box was lighter and not containing the full capacity of three packs (36 in each – 108 pieces) instead there were just 2 packs of diapers of 36 pieces in each (72 Pieces).
Conclusion – It was the same box with the capacity/dimension of carrying not more than 3 packs (108 Pieces) but I was still delivered just 2 packs of diapers (36X2 is 72 pieces)
2. If I was delivered a bigger box –
a. If I was delivered the full quantity of 144 pieces in just one box, I still have the box with me. It’s not different than a usual box. It’s not a bigger box
b. Amazon can compare the WEIGHT of the box recorded that was delivered to me with the box having the capacity/dimension of carrying 144 pieces OR 4 packs of 36 pieces each with the same box (if any, because I am not aware if such packaging if available) with the box actually FILLED with 144 pieces OR 4 packs of 36 pieces each
Conclusion – It was the same box with the capacity of not more than 3 packs
3. If I was delivered more than one BOX
a. If I was delivered more than one BOX with multiple deliveries, then obviously Amazon must be having track of the number of deliveries made to me for THIS particular order
b. If required, I can help with the CCTV footage of my house entrance and society of this matter
Conclusion – There was just one delivery made with the same box with the capacity of not more than 3 packs
I hope this gets sorted out and I can honestly help with any evidence required to close the matter. I want 50% of my balance quantity or a refund of the balance quantity from Amazon
