Hi,
I am writing you this to make a complaint against this particular hotel Himalaya Darshan Berinag. When I visited the hotel on 1st april’ 2021, I was advised that I should pay the amount in cash and they don’t have any connection with agoda regarding any kind of online booking.
I showed him the booking receipt that I have already paid for my stay and the amount was already charged from my account (Rs.1304), but they completely denied and I was forced to pay the amount in cash (Rs. 800) for my stay. As it was quite late night when we checked in, hence I didn’t have enough options. I tried to reach agoda over chat (as there was no contact number available for calling) but couldn’t get through, no one was available from agoda’s end to provide me the solution over chat.
I am attaching you the bill which was given to me when I paid offline with cash to the hoteller and request you to kindly remove/block this kind of hotel. I paid twice for my stay, I also faced bad behaviour and felt cheated. Free breakfast which was included with my staying, that was also not provided to me. This is a complete case of customer harassment.
I want my money back which I paid online (Rs. 1304.68) along with a remedy for the harassment which I faced and request you to take proper action against this hotel. Please expedite the process and let me know in case you need any further information.
