IFB AMC – Fraud business and giving mental torture

Text of Complaint by Amit Kumar:

I have an ongoing AMC for my Washing Machine that expires by the end of December.
I got some problem in the door lock and the rubber part of the door in the month of September and I made a ticket to fix my door.
Mr. Rajeev from Sunrise franchise came and said that it cannot be fixed with my current AMC but I can buy a new AMC now (almoat 2 and half months before) itself and in next 10 days he will come and fix the problem. He also assured that if I buy a new AMC now then the problem will be fixed and the warrenty will be extended to Next year December end.
He sounds so promising and I trusted him anr paid him the AMC amount with plastic and rubber parts included.
Afterward, he didnt came and I have been chasing him since then and made several calls. Each time he makes promise that it will be fixed in next two days and his next two days never came. After a while he stopped picking up my call.
I waited for few more days but he didnt turn up so I dont know what to do. I called customer care and I informed them about the issue and they promised they will arrange something.
Nothing happened and I made another call to customercare and someone else pick the call and she doesnot know what other person has made promise to me and its repeated cycle to start the complain again. Finally I asked the name so that next time if they dont fix, i should ask for the same customer care person because i was tired explaining the same peoblem to different shift person of cuatomer care.
Chaitra from customer care patched me with a lady name “Pritiysa” and explained her the issue. She also made promises that it will be fixed the same day and Rajeev will call me but no one called me and I called her back. She said she will arrange someone to fix my problem by tomorrow 5PM.
No one turns up by 1.30PM next day. I tried to call Pritysa and she didnt pick my called. I made another call after sometime and she switched off her phone.
Thereafter I made almost 5 calls and all times her mobile was switched off. It was very very frustrating and I approached Chaitra again from customer care and she tried to call her too but she failed to call her.
Finally she asked me the copy of the new AMC and she said she will assign the ticket to a new franchise.
Afterward, she did called me back and she asked me give me serial number of washing maching. I asked why did she not picked up my call and later switched off. She said she didnt received call. It was just a shock for me and she is asking serial number for renewal of my AMC and by this time she didnt arrange anyone to fix. Prituysa seems very unprofessional and was just wasting time.
New franchise people called me and asked for the address. I gave him and later in the evening he refused to come because the pincode is not servicable in his work area.
I made another complain to customer care and this time some guy picks up the call and he said he will arrange something else.
Next day Sunil from head branch came with spare parts and he said that I will have to pay. I dont understand why and later I shown him the new AMC that I brought on Rajeev call. He said the AMC is not reflecting in the system and I must write email to fix this issue and he said Sunrise people has cheated me. As per him, AMC can be brought 30 days in adnavce but Rajeev has taken money almoat 90 days in advance.
He asked me to send email to IFB representative to complain about the fraud that has been done to me.
I sent couple of email and the hero of IFB appeared Mr.Shreeranga and he said this will not be covered and it doesnot matter whether his employee has taken money from me by giving false information. He inditectly said I can approach consuer court and even then he will not service my washing machine.
So I am explaining my frustration here and demanding justice.

Question:
Why do Mr.Shreeanga don’t care about the customer who has been cheated by his employee. Does it mean he train such employee and send them to get money from customer?
Is this the only eay to earn money by doing fraud and cheating Indian?
Why Money has been faken from me almost 90 days in advance?

All these people have been torturing me mentally and giving me message that they can do anything after they take money from customer.

I dont understand why IFB is making fake promises and taking the hard earned money from the customer. I dont think with such activity, they can survive in the industry for longer period.

    1. Dear IFB,

      I made almost 10 – 15 calls to Customer care and shared them all the copy of the AMC (current and future AMC that they took from me in wrong manner in the month of September end) and still they did not helped me.
      What I am suppose to do.

      I just got one reply that they wont help me and I can go to consuner court as they dont care about who is doing and fraud and they dont care how money is coming to them.
      What am I suppose to do? Should I not file a cinsumer case against them? Should I let them to go on cheat me and others?

  3. How many days I have to wait for repairs under amc .After taking amc machine is giving trouble.the technician says I have to pay service charges or I have to wait for 45,days to get my machine repaired under amc.
    Anybody from ifb can clarify.
