I ordered a Diakin 1.5 ton 5 star AC with model number FRWF50TV162 for 34,249 rs on 20th April 2022. But I got the product with model number FRWF50UV163 whereas the invoice was made for FRWF50TV162.
After contacting for return, I was asked for my aadhar card and pictures of the product for verification, which I sent them immediately and they gave a date of resolution which was 15 days after I initiated the request.
After that, they asked me to fill a consent form to file an FIR for the issue, which I sent them duely filled and then they gave me a date of resolution again.
They cancelled the return request before the date of resolution and when I asked for the reason they told me that it’s a system error and they initiated the request again and gave a date of resolution.
They cancelled the request again and again when I contacted them, they said sorry and initiated it again.
When it had been 20-25 days and I was still in scorching heat without an AC, I contacted them again and asked if they would not return it, either I would install it or buy another AC. then they told me that as the invoice and product are not the same, I won’t get the warranty of the product and they initiated return request again and it got cancelled again. It kept happening for 4-5 times and I talked to more than 60 customer care executives of Flipkart to get it resolved but some of them disconnect the call or go on hold forever and others just gave a date of resolution and false assurance.
After a month, which was on 19th may 2022, they contacted me that your product will be picked up within 2-3 days and you will get a call about the date of pickup in 48 hours.
Next day when I checked, I saw that my Flipkart account was blocked and after contacting them to unblock it, they mailed me that due to high number of returns, your account has been blacklisted and cannot be retrieved again.
Now I have an extra AC kept with no use and this hefty amount of money stuck because of Flipkart and they are even not willing to unblock my account as if I have done a fraud whereas I am the victim of Flipkart’s harassment.
