Sir ,
I had applied for Airtel Broadband connection with telephone line.
Lead ID: 41-7951327226 that Airtel provided me for new connection.
The engineer (Shivratan) from Airtel then contacted me and and visited me on 26th/aug/2021 and checked the feasebility of connection, and said that the fiber connection is feasible at my address and that the connection team will visit within an hour and the new connection will be activated on same day (26th/aug/2021). He took ID(PAN Card). and photo on whose name the connection was to be set for and took OTP for the same. Also took three month advance payment for new connection.
Later same day (26th Aug) I contacted Shivratan as it was few hours after he left as to why no one visited/contacted me for new connection, he said someone will call so I waited. Next day he asked for new ID as his system was not taking the other ID so I gave him another id via WhatsApp photo of Aadhar on his personal no. For few days till 30th Aug I kept calling him and he kept asking for new OTP every time which I gave him and every time I gave him the OTP he told he that the connection team will visit me in 1 hour/same day etc. but no one contacted me. Within the above stipulated time I had multiple times contacted Airtel on its help line no. which was again of no use . The personal on Airtel helpline had twice escalated the matter to his senior who then he again told me that the he sent/escalated the matter to concerned department/team and that the matter will be solved soon and I will get the connection. Today(31st/Aug) I contacted the customer care the representative connected me to his senior again who said the connection is not feasible at my address.
(Which is a big lie, as few months back Airtel had his people/contractor dug the ground and laid down fiber optical cables in my locality, also as above mentioned the engineer that visited me said that fiber connection was feasible!! and that the few times that I called customer care and many times to the engineer they never said that my location was not feasible. ) also why at first place the engineer took money for connection?(He checked and then took money) They didn’t even give me receipt for payment and said it walk be mailed to me.
. Sir I have call recordings and screenshots related to this matter. Sir I feel cheated , lied to and harassed by the way Airtel representatives treated me and would like to get full compensation of amount I gave to Airtel and additional amount for all the troubles I faced from Airtel (a amount which surely will hurt this multinational corp. and put them in line so that other or to be new customer don’t face the same problem that I am facing)
Sir not all consumer escalate matter, but those who do should be given proper treatment.
