Need replacement SIM urgently, but Airtel is denying to give the SIM to my Cousin or relatives in india. Though i sent a person with valid proof’s and ready for video call.

I would like to raise a similar complain against Airtel. I am living overseas in Australia and my local Airtel India sim got damaged few months back. My father had to make several visits to the local Airtel store and provided all the necessary evidence. I provided my identity evidence over video call. All the procedures were performed but Airtel has been extremely unhelpful and nothing has been done about it. Infact, I think Airtel expects me to travel to India to get my sim.. Find it really difficult to understand that getting a sim is such a challenging process. This is complete disregard of customer rights. I have been just paying bills over the last few months so that Airtel doesnt deactivate my sim but unable to use it.
It is the same issue with me. I asked them what do I do. Do they expect my family from Assam to travel to Bangalore to get the sim as the sim is registered to Karnataka circle. I going to send my in law with my documents and see what happens. I am already depressed reading your situation. Unable to make any transactions as I am not receving any OTPS
I got my sim card by just visiting to Airtel store by my parents. I live in abroad. They just asked few kyc documents of mine and a video proof. After that i got my sim on spot with providing my sim receiver proof which be our parents.
Now same as u position to me also .I am very dispersion so help me how can I get my new sim airtel
