On 24-Sep-22, I visited HP authorized store in RR nagar, Bangalore

After checking my laptop, the sales person told me that the battery need to be replaced. He fixed the new battery and invoiced me for Rs.2500/-. Invoice copy was sent an hour later on my WhatsApp number.
After the full-charge, the battery gave me 1 hour back-up. It was only then I removed the battery and checked it and I realized that the battery sold by the HP authorized dealer was not original HP made. It was a compatible non-branded item.
I believed that HP selling only original items in their authorized store. And we consumers expect them to sell only the original items from their store. Sales person didn’t mention anything about original/compatible during sale. But after raising the concern, they started explaining about compatibility.
I had contacted the store to take back the product and refund me the money. But they denied saying there is no return, but only replacement when this battery stops working.
I contacted the consumer support center explaining the concern. But they are not responding properly and also told me that salesperson informed me about the duplicate product while invoicing me. When I asked them why are they selling duplicate product in their store, they are not accepting the fact that they sell duplicate products from their store.
I even asked them to provide a replacement with an original product, but they are not agreeing. Instead they are saying that they do not have original battery for this model of my laptop.
I have spent a lot of time contacting them. Many calls and many emails. None of my calls were answered. And they replied to few of my emails with no proper resolution. Now they even stopped responding to my emails. I really get irritated when I read their responses and now I feel its even more harassment to contact them.
Its been more than one month and issue is not resolved by HP.
