Sir,
I have booked to visit Shimla, Manali, Dalhousie, and Amritsar. I booked a package from Make My Trip for a trip from the 18th to the 26th of December, and my booking ID was NL2100992844562.
I noticed that the room offered by MMT in the plan did not match the room offered by Torrentium Lodge Shimla.
The room was filthy and disorganized, making it unsuitable for me and my family. A room is typically appropriate for the name “Lodge.” The lodge manager is not providing the room mentioned in the Make My Trip itinerary. Actually, my room had been assigned to another guest, and the lodge manager had asked me to wait for one day. My stay in Shimla was only two days, and there was no reason for me to stay in such a room.
I immediately brought this to the attention of the Lodge manager, Sapna Pandey (Sales and Marketing MMT), and Tanya Choudhari (Relationship manager MMT). I waited in the lodge for 2.5 hours for a response from MMT on the ground team, but no one did. Even Sapna sent an email to the ground team, but I received no response. So I connected Sapna and Tanaya via conference call and informed them that if the offered room is not assigned to me, I will leave the Lodge without checking in. I reserved a room in another hotel for Rs 3500-4000/- per day, and MMT should be reimbursed for the same amount. This conversation has been recorded.
Tanaya Choudhri (Relationship Manager MMT) has so far refused to refund the money and has even denied that any conversion occurred between us.
Tanaya Choudheri has not responded to my emails or phone calls. Her demeanor was truly unprofessional and impolite. She does not provide any senior personal contact information.
I’d like to request you to talk about Make My Trip and guide me how i can get my refund back. I have attached a conversation that I had with the MMT and Jungle Mountain Resort bill where I stay in Shimla at my own cost.
