I have applied for a home loan transfer from SBI Bank to HDFC Bank. HDFC Bank arranged for an executive named Srinivas to handle my loan process. Mr. Srinivas contacted me and gathered all the necessary information and requirements for my home loan. In 2021, I took a home loan of 40 lakh and a top-up loan of 20 lakh, totaling 60 lakh. Currently, I have an outstanding balance of 58 lakh with SBI, and I wish to transfer the loan and obtain a top-up of 5 lakh.
Srinivas instructed me to apply for a home loan of 40 lakh and a top-up loan of 23 lakh, and I submitted the loan transfer application in the first week of March. The loan was sanctioned, but Srinivas started ignoring my calls regarding the document submission process. From April to June, I made over 300 calls to him, and although he occasionally responded, he mostly ignored my calls and displayed a careless attitude towards my work.
A few days ago, he provided me with a demand draft (DD) totaling 58,46,920, consisting of amounts 38,94,875, 9,85,558, and 9,66,487. Out of the total loan amount of 63 lakh, I received a DD of 58,46,920, leaving a balance of 4,53,080. However, after submitting the original documents, I only received an amount of 3,48,000, and the remaining 1,05,000 has not been released yet. When I asked Mr. Srinivas about the unreleased amount, he stated that it cannot be released. I am extremely upset with HDFC’s service
