I have received a Bill in May (for month of April 23) in which previous amounts paid have not been adjusted. The MSEDCL Meter Reader has made a mistake. While the consumption figure in units is now adjusted, the amounts paid in Mar 23 and Apr 23 have not been adjusted. I have lodged Complaint 0000027899488 online, but there is no traction.
Why must a consumer be penalised for a meter readers fault and have to pay a high bill when the actual figures of past payment are in the bill itself.
The Due date will be in a weeks time and I will be held a defaulter for no mistake of mine.
