Text of Complaint by Samaresh Pal:

This is to bring to your kind notice that the HDFC credit card department has generated a bill amount of 106200₹ for my regalia hdfc credit card ending 3941.

The 4 EMIs that they have included in the bill do not exist and the same was cancelled and refunded back by the Flipkart merchant on 17th Jan 2023.
But still they have included that in the 02 March 2023 bill generated.

I have sent several email to them to bring to notice that the all the 4 transactions have been refunded and the emis to do not exist and the same was brought to notice to them on 08th March 2023.

After several emails,one gentleman from hdfc credit card department calls up and says that the the customer has to notify the hdfc credit card department,if there has been any refund back to the card and it is not their responsibility and he said that they will let let me know ,how much to pay by 22nd March 2023.

My billing amount was 22nd March 2023 and my outstanding as per them was 106200₹, i repeatedly ask them, how much i need to pay them by 22nd March 2023, as they admitted that they will cancel all the 4 EMIS.

I paid 57000₹ upfront just to avoid any interest payment by 22nd March 2023.

Today on 24th March 2023, they sent me an email that the full amount of 106200₹ has to be paid by me and also the interest amount generated.

All the 4 EMIS were cancelled in Jan 2023 month and the money was deposited back to my credit card by Flipkart but still they continued all the 4 EMIS on the 02nd March 2023 bill.

I am attaching all the proof available with for the correspondence but the hdfc credit card department has been purposely waiting to levy interest rates on me, in case of any default.

In their email they still say one of the emi is still active.

I need help from the RBI to punish this hdfc credit card and generating fraudulent bills and their resolution takes so much time and they blame the customer that we were trying to contact you but you were not reachable but they won’t reply on email ,just to avoid any litigation.

My prayer to you is that they have purposely added all the EMIS ,even though they were all refunded back to the card and they say that it is the customer responsibility to tell them regarding the refund.

I am attaching all the proof available with me.
I am presently in dubai for work but i have been harassed by hdfc credit card department.
