Hi,
I had taken a postpaid mobile connection from Vodafone in March this year. After using it for 2 months and getting horrible connectivity, I raised a complaint and requested de-activation. For 1 month nobody even got in touch with me and even though I wasnt using the phone they sent me an invoice.
About 40 days from the original complaint, I got the first touch from Vodafone but alas it wasn’t in response to my complaint but to ask me to pay money for services that I hadn’t used! I tried explaining the case to multiple agents and I was assured every time that the number has NOW been de-activated but simultaneously I kept getting reminders and legal notices from some collection agents who on Vodafone’s behalf. Needless to say, NOBODY FROM VODAFONE EVER CONTACTED ME TO UNDERSTAND THE NATURE OF MY COMPLAINT.
After 2 months of this unethical drama, I go sick of dealing with the company as such and paid a bill for 2 months where I never used the phone. I wrote it on email that I don’t want to get another email from your end and attached the payment invoice!
You would be shocked to know that since then, I have still been receiving bills from Vodafone every month. Nobody calls me and when I contact on the number mentioned it is switched off! What kind of a shit show is the company running and HOW DARE THEY KEEP SELLING ME DETAILS TO DEBT COLLECTION AGENCIES WHEN I DON’T OWE THE COMPANY ANYTHING.
After months of harassment, I have decided to move to consumer court. Also, I have had a word with or Head of Operations at my organization and we are moving away from Vodafone company Vide (Jio is so much better than these scammers)!
My advice to any corporate user who doesn’t have the time and energy to focus on such things, is to stay away from any services being offered by the Vodafone-Idea umbrella! I am sure their days in the market are limited now..
