I have got my vodafone services switched to prepaid from postpaid on June 3, 2020. I visited the nearest Vodafone centre, They made me pay the Bill for May 2020 of Rs 624/- and also took advance payment of Rs 90/- for June (1,2,3) 3 days of payment. Then the vodafone executive gave me a new sim (prepaid) which she recharged for Rs 249/- and i duly paid for that. She told me that my postpaid sim which i was using will become inactive around night time – My postpaid vodafone services will be switched off and then i can insert the new prepaid sim and continue using the services.
I was sent a postpaid services bill in July 2020 for the month of June. I initially tried to sort out the matter by calling the customer services team but none of them has any clue. I then started getting bill recovery calls/Whatsapp messages/emails/Notices with warnings and threats. None of them is able to explain that why was the bill generated when the sim was deactivated on June 3. I have all the bill receipts/emails that i have duly paid all my bills till i used the postpaid services (June 3).
Please look into the matter on a urgent basis.
