I am Sana Parti and my father passed away in Novemeber,2019 due to cancer. After his death we have been continuously harassed by HDFC to no end.

Recently, Mr. Ankit Tyagi, a recovery agent from HDFC bank called and asked me to pay a credit card bill of which I have had no knowledge before and I informed him that after my father’s death we are in the worst possible financial situation and I do not have the means to clear the amount that he is quoting after which he got abusive with me and started to threaten to come with his men to my house and said “teri aur teri maa ko dekh lunga” “tum log chor ho”. He somehow took out phone numbers of my distant relatives in Pune and called them up pretending to be a govt officer and said Sana Parti will be arrested call her and was abusing them. He even called my college friends and did the same and harassed them as well. From where he has got these numbers is unknown.

I have not inherited anything from my father and today I am even struggling to fend for my family, However, at no point have i ever avoided the bank of their calls or not agreed to cooperate but today I am scared for my own safety as this man has outrightly said he will cause harm to us now especially when I told him I am informing the police. After speaking with the police he went ahead and called my distant relatives and friends and threatened them as well. If he can find out the contact details of my cousin in Pune who i have also never spoken to he can go to any extent to cause harm and/or malign my name. This is complete invasion of privacy and no way to behave with any human.
