This is in reference to rigorous harassment from Fullerton India (now acquired by Kotak Mahindra Bank) wherein profanity has been used immensely over calls, with my colleagues (who have nothing to do with them and were called directly) and also harassing my mother.

Citing the whole scenario, during my early professional career I took a loan of approx 95K from the bank with a due monthly installment. Along with this I was made to opt for a insurance amount (at the that time communicated as mandatory as a part of the bank’s policy) that will help in coverage of 6 installments to be covered by Fullerton in case I am unable to paid the monthly EMIs. Post sometime, I decided to study further and called Fullerton to educate them on the issue and to avail the insurance bu virtue of which 6 months installments were to be paid by Fullerton, however at a stretch of 2 months no one helped me there and I also stopped calling. Post that, I have been getting calls from Fullerton and I have also told them the scenario and asked them for  my 6 months payments to be cleared and then shall proceed with the principle amount.
Eventually nothing happened neither they paid the money or were ready to accept that insurance has happened not did I.
Finally, recently got a call from a representative of patiala court that I have been charged under IPC 138, 402 and 420 and they asked to check with bank and sort this out or else I need to appear in court. I am salaried individual who didn’t want to get into the court hassle and agreed on the payment terms and the mutually agreed settlement amount. An email was to be shot for the same by them which I needed to approve and was called to confirm also that an e-mail has been sent for my approval. Moreover, a call from Kotak HQ was to come to verify this and for my confirmation. No call from HQ and no email received. Finally, got a call from an anonymous number mentioned that it is from the Kotak HQ and that a mistake has been made and I have to pay the whole principal amount to which I didn’t agree as it was the double the amount. I don’t know what to do after this.
