Harassment and Ill treatment at Willows Resort Wayanad

Text of Complaint by Piyush Pagaria:

Having in mind that at the last day of the vacation we would be in a good resort, we decided to come to Willows Resort, Wayanad. From the time we entered it has been an harassing and stressful experience along with ill treatment from the entire staff. Instances listed below:

Lunch order placed at 3 PM and served at 4 PM and when it was served it was cold, had a bad smell and was smelling of non-veg while clear instructions were given that we need Pure Veg food as we are Jain.

Secondly, while serving the Captain of the restaurant served the noodles with no cutlery and when asked he gave one fork between the two of us and when asked for the second fork, he asked us to use the serving spoon and fork.

Third – When we entered the room in the afternoon, there were spider webs and spiders. Also, the washroom was dirty.

Fourth – During checkin everyone was offered a welcome drink and we were not offered the same leading to partiality of services.

Fifth – No wifi in room, when it is mentioned under amenities.

Sixth – During evening Dinner, we ordered food at 7 PM and told we will have it at 8 PM as they told it will take some time. We reached at 8 PM and still it was not ready. After requesting they served the food at 8:45 PM.

Seventh – While serving French fries, the person banged it on the table and spilled it on us.

Eight – When we returned to the room and thought of resting, there were multiple full size cockroaches on the bed and near the Television (image attached)

Ninth – When asked the staff, no proper concern was shown and had to waste my entire day and night for just asking them for proper services for which I paid in Advance.

With all this when I asked for a full refund of Rs. 4750/-, all they had to offer was a refund of Rs. 229/-.

I would sincerely urge and request that such a resort should be held accountable and I want a full refund plus compensation for the harassment. I would request a total of Rs. 10,000/-.
