Complaint Statement
I, Gokul V, wish to lodge a complaint regarding the loan application provided by BrightLoans.
Before taking the loan, I informed the lender that the interest rate was too high. Their representatives assured me that the interest would be reduced after the loan was approved. Trusting this assurance, I accepted the loan. However, the promised reduction was never provided.
Instead, I was charged approximately 45% interest per month, along with additional penalties and charges, which caused the outstanding loan amount to increase significantly. I believe I was misled regarding the actual cost of the loan.
I am currently suffering from serious health issues and have already informed the lender and submitted my medical documents. Despite this, I continue to receive recovery communications, causing me severe financial hardship and mental stress.
I also suspect that my personal data and contact information have been used without my permission. I request that the Cyber Crime authorities investigate the alleged unauthorized use of my personal data and the misleading representations regarding the interest charges, and take appropriate action in accordance with the law.
