My mobile phone was stolen, which unfortunately led to unauthorized access to my accounts, including my account with different lending application service. Unknown to me, the perpetrator exploited my stolen phone to make several loan applications without my consent or knowledge.
Since these unauthorized loan applications were submitted, I have been subjected to relentless harassment and unwarranted calls from the company’s representatives. These calls have extended beyond myself, reaching out to my family members and colleagues, causing undue distress and embarrassment. Moreover, the content of these calls falsely implies that I am delinquent on loan payments, which is entirely inaccurate and damaging to my reputation.
I must emphasize that I am a victim of identity theft in this situation. I have taken immediate steps to report the theft of my phone to the authorities and have initiated the necessary procedures to rectify the unauthorized activity on my accounts. However, the continued harassment from these online lending representatives exacerbates an already challenging situation.
