There has been numerous issues with Vodafone which causes a lot of harassment to the customer.

I had collected a replacement SIM (9830112491) from the Vodafone store near south city in Kolkata on 17th November and was told it will be activated in 2 hrs. Even after waiting till the next day it did not work. After making numerous calls and sending emails to Vodafone this is still not resolved. They have accepted their mistake of not registering the SIM and what is surprising is that this is not the first time this has happened. Last year when I converted my 3 postpaid numbers   to 4g sims the same thing happened where they were issued to me but not registered and I had to spend 3-4 days explaining this over the phone.

This time its almost a week and still not resolved. I have spoken to more than 10 different customer service executives and they all have different things to say. There are no responses to emails and Vodafone seems completely apathetic to the situation. Its even shocking that most of the time there is no executive to speak in english.

This has been a very harassing period due to the negligence of a store and sadly the number is still inactive and given I have a postpaid number I will be billed for the month.

I would like some serious action to be taken against Vodafone as they have taken the customers for grantef not just once but repeatedly. Happy to provide more details if needed.
