Gave an ad on a few property portals for renting out my 1RK room in Angol belgaum, Karnataka.
Shortly thereafter was contacted from phone number +918260893418, from someone purporting to be ‘Subedar Jora Singh’ presently stationed in Bangalore but getting transferred shortly to Belgaum . Claimed had liked the flat based on photos posted, was aware of the locality and keen to take it. Said can transfer advance immediately for the purpose.
‘Jora Singh’ whatsapp’d me ‘his’ Photos, Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Army card and hes photo. Those are as hereunder. In turn I sent him a photos of house.
Now he quickly wants to transfer funds on ‘ Google pay. He asks me another whatsapp mobile I gave my cousins number he send a QR Code wants to scan the QR Code I was scanned and I was lost my 19110/Rs. The QR Code send phone number+918822123018 and amount transferred to another account hes name is Deshpal Yadav hes phone number is+917247511710.
5. I was calling him but he putted my number in block list.
This guy is from real group of fraudster.
He is operating from mobile No 9707984353

I have given advertisement for a rent my flat in MagiBricks, this so called guy Jora Singh contacted me saying he is shifting to Bangalore so he needs a flat, and he has shared same details with me. He does not speak English, only hindi. He is okay for all the conditions. Thats when I got a doubt. Thanks for putting his name in fraudster list.

Jora Singh called us with 15 mins after we posted an ad for a house for rent in Bangalore. He told us that he is a Subedar from the Indian Army and that he has got a transfer from Hyderabad to Bangalore and is in immediate need of a house for himself and his family. He was, supposedly, impressed by the house and wanted to book it immediately. He wanted to pay us a token advance immediately and was pushing for it.
Luckily we told him that we can’t go ahead with the transaction without meeting him once. After that call Jora Singh has not called us back.
Thanks to this forum we got to know that it was a fraud call.

Same case happening to me today. He is calling from a number 8099985149. He is asking me to share Google pay number and then he will transfer money. I wanted to have the video call first before renting my flat. So, he is not calling back again. Previously he has shared all downloaded pictures of Jora singh from internet.
what should we do in this case? please suggest.
