I have booked a flight ticket on paytm with booking ID 12184585394 and PNR QCY9SA. Total fare was Rs 8007 out of which Rs 7558 was charged by Airline and Rs 449 by Paytm as convenience fee.
Unfortunately due to Covid Pandemic, flight got cancelled. And Go Air had initiated the refund process . However , the fee to be refunded is shown less that what was charged by Airline (i.e Rs 6759) It seems like Airline withhold Airline Fuel Charges of Rs 700 (for round trip) and that’s where the difference is coming. In addition to that , Paytm is not refunding my convenience fee of Rs 449.
If the flight got cancelled due to this COVID situation, Paytm should also refund the amount back to the consumer. If I would have cancelled the flight, then I would agree to not refund the processing fee.
I requested Airline to please don’t make a business in this situation and refund the amount back to my account/Wallet so that I can book a ticket again.
