Got call from so called nykaa sales and marketing department, some lady #Riya sharma probably not real, called telling me I got selected in lucky draw .She asked me to add products to my cart worth 5k or take a gift voucher, and not completing the order, rather take screenshots and send it to their business account +919003067163. Whole payment to be made through upi. No cash, no debit or credit cards
Then they gave me 3
One account number in name of kotak mahendra mumbai branch. Then she asked me to type the IFSC codE. Till that time I didn’t doubt their scheme SINCE THEY HAD MY DETAILS, My address my order details everything. But once you pay them , then the drama starts
This lady says we have done paperwork,which they won’t share with you. We have placed your order, we will now verify your address and that you hv to pay a small gst amt for government clearance as our warehouse is in haryana and the product has to be delivered to uttar pradesh.The gst money which will revert back to the account within 30 secs.gst charges are 11,999.9inr.
I stupidly paid 5000 to kotak mahendra.After that I got continuous calls for the paying the gst.
At this point I thought it was enough, and these people are here to dupe me.Just want everyone to be aware not to be misguided
I lost 5k to #nykaa
I totally feel their employees are divulging details of the customer to the scammers
