I ordered a hair dryer of remington brand worth ₹5995 through amazon.in
But when i received the product, inside remington original packing there was a fake hair dryer of Sonashi brand, a brand i have never heard of.
I immediately filed a return by putting the product inside the same box. Amazon got the package picked up.
After no further progress, i wrote emails to amazon to track the refund status but amazon replied that the product i returned is not the same product that they had delivered. I sent them the pictures that i took as i received and opened the package but they kept denying the same.
Apparently, they trusted their supplier more than their customer and it seemed like they thought i had purposely done the same.
It is really shocking of a company like amazon to do so.
Its been weeks after repeatedly explaining this to them but there is no response.
