Sir/Madam,
We have booked Air India flight from Makemytrip company scheduled for 7th Aug 2021 however due to rising COVID cases we decided to postpone our travel to a later date in the year. Air India is providing facility of date change free of cost to for all bookings done till 31st Aug 2021 however Makemytrip website shows that Air India will be charging us for date change (Sum is more than the current value of our 3 tickets) and Makemytrip will also charge 300 Rs per ticket as date over and above it.
We have been trying to contact Makemytrip via, there email id, customer care numbers, Twitter but no resolution is being provided. The departure date is near as if we don’t board the flight it will be considered as no show and all are ticket cost will become null that too without any fault of ours. We have been continuously trying to contact Air India customer care as well but they are directing us to contact Makemytrip as we booked flight from there. We shld not be held responsible for no show as resolution is not being provided by both Makemytrip and Air India on time.
