I am writing to file a formal complaint against the online retailer “Faction Hut” regarding a recent purchase made on their platform. The details of the transaction are as follows:

Order Number: [#ST18AUG1273] Product Ordered: 2 Cargo Pants Total Amount Paid: 899 Rupees
I placed an order for 2 cargo pants through Faction Hut’s website, expecting to receive the products as described on their platform. However, upon receiving the package on [Delivery Date], I was shocked and dismayed to find that instead of the ordered cargo pants, I received 3 pieces of used and old clothing items. It was evident that these items were in no way the cargo pants I had ordered and paid for.
To exacerbate the situation, I discovered that the Faction Hut website has completely disappeared from the internet, rendering me unable to access any contact details for customer service, return, exchange, or refund. This has left me in a distressing predicament, as I am now stuck with unusable and incorrect items, and I have no recourse to rectify the situation.
I have made numerous attempts to locate Faction Hut’s customer service through online searches, social media, and other means, but all efforts have been in vain. It is clear that Faction Hut has engaged in fraudulent activities by misleading consumers into making purchases, failing to deliver the ordered products, and disappearing without any means of contact.
I am seeking the intervention of the Consumer Court to address this matter and take appropriate action against Faction Hut. I kindly request the following:
Investigate the fraudulent activities of Faction Hut and hold them accountable for their unethical business practices.
Ensure that I am refunded the full amount of 899rs that I paid for the cargo pants that were never delivered.
Impose suitable penalties on Faction Hut for causing mental distress, financial loss, and inconvenience due to their actions.
I have attached copies of the order confirmation, the received package with the incorrect items, and any relevant communication I attempted with Faction Hut. I am willing to provide any additional information or evidence that may be required to facilitate the investigation of this matter.
I hope that the Consumer Court will consider my complaint seriously and take the necessary steps to ensure justice is served.
