On April 28th I placed an order for one dozen premium A1 grade mangos from Alphonso Delight E-commerce site. The price cited was Rs 2800/- besides that another 200/- was charged for delivery. The mangoes were delivered today and to my disbelief the mangoes delivered were definitely not A1 grade mangoes. Typically grade A1 mangoes are 250-300 gms in weight, all the 12 mangoes I weighed individually and besides 4 of them which weighed less than 220 gm, 8 of them weighed anywhere between 170 to 185 gm. In their offer, if you were to purchase a dozen mangoes, they were to give 2 mangoes free besides the order. I never got the 2 free mangoes.
This company runs campaigns on social media and dupes unwitting customers and I am lodging a formal complaint to take this company to own up their mistake and either issue a full refund or fulfil the order as promised.
These issues were flagged on their WhatsApp number along with pictures of each mango along with the respective weight but they have chosen to remain silent.
