Hi,
I got adds selling cookware at a discounted price on myshopify.com by brand name portblends. I had paid 788 rupees for the transaction facilitated by PayU. The transaction ID is 14072670933. PayU had confirmed this to me on my mobile number but the vendor name provided in message was “Angel clothing”. I had trusted PayU money for doing due diligence before onboarding sellers and doing business with them and went ahead to make the payment because of this trust. However when I raised a concern with PayU support team to check if this transaction was valid, they closed the ticket without contacting me or giving any information. I would like to file a complaint against PayU for being negligent in doing due diligence and being hand in hand with these fraudsters, despite being a business in financial domain and scamming innocent people like me who wish to buy from smaller vendors expecting big names like PayU to do the bare minimum due diligence while onboarding the teams whom they transact with
