I have had numerous charges on my credit card from Uber Eats but I do have an account with them and have never used any Uber service. I disputed the charges with my bank and they were removed and I got a replacement credit card with a new number. Uber Eats has charged my card again. I have again disputed the charges with my bank and have a replacement card on the way. I contacted the credit card company and was told that the merchant automatically gets my new card number and that I cannot stop that or block that merchant! I do not have an Uber account and cannot contact them.

I have been having the same issue with fraudulent charges from Uber Eats. I noticed two unrecognized charges in San Francisco. I reported the card and Chase sent me a new one. Then they sent me a new replacement card and then I got ANOTHER unrecognized charge. I got a second replacement. Chase said the card might be linked to a Stripe registration that updated the digital wallet.
I also had fraudulent charges on my card from Uber Eats. I seems to me that Uber Eats is not secure and just charges any card and does not have a very secure authentication system to prevent this from happening. They need to be investigated and be forced to update their application so this does not happen to so many people. I am looking into this and will put a complaint against Uber Eats for their insecure authentication process for credit cards and bank cards.
Same thing happened to me; I have called them several times to get this sorted out with no results. It is outrageous!
