I had activated free incoming US international roaming prepaid plan in Vodafone mulund store in Jan 2018 where I was grossly misinformed of the charges. I was fraudulently billed INR 16000 for zero usage and was informed that I will be billed INR 300 of the plan during activation. This was a huge discrepancy between what was informed and what they charged me. After harassing us for multiple times, I agreed to settle INR 8000 mutually with them over call just to get rid of the harassment. Even after the settlement, they did not stop harassing us in fact, their employees and third party collector threaten us like goons. We cibilized citizens have no recourse but to resort to consumer court which we hope will help us from this mental harassment.
