Text of Complaint by Sally-Anne Jones:

an account was taken out in my name and in March I was made aware when a 3rd party debt company contacted me. I contacted Vodafone and they passed me to fraud and stated ‘I must of known them as they had my details’. This ruined my credit file as the person who took the account out requested all direct debits back in January leaving the account unpaid (didn’t even know you could do this). Even thought the complaint was open Vodafone have continued to show an missed payment on my credit file. I had a job offer which has now been retracted due to my credit file. The complaint has gone on for 6 months and I have done everything vodafone have asked I.e report to action fraud, chase etc  however every time vodafone choose something else they need before resolving.

The account was in a Mr and I’m a miss and they have stated there contact was male also the address was just the street name and not a house number confirming I have never had sight of this contract
