I have been attacked by some cyber fraudster. I received a call from +91 7799293440 around 7:54 pm today which i disconnected, and then again at 19:55. Truecaller showed this as a verified call from mobikwik customer support so I trusted. The computerised voice claimed that my account was accessed by someone else and asked me to type the OTP that I received on the dial pad while being on call. As soon as that was completed, the hackers got access to my Mobikwik wallet and since then I have been receiving multiple msgs as OTPs and registration details for various apps. I have 500+ such messages in a matter of 15 minutes. I then logged in to mobikwik through my secured laptop. Though I didn’t see any of my bank accounts or credit cards linked/ saved there, but still for safety purpose I placed a request for deactivating my mobikwik account. Fingers crossed that I do not suffer a financial loss becoming another victim of a cyber fraud.
Please take necessary action to save me and other customers from this fraud.
