I made a booking with Park Hotel, Puri through their manager who called himself Abinash, contact no 6391640253. This contact number was available on the website of Park Hotel, Puri. This person contacted me over Whatsapp and shared room images of the property along with bank details of Hotel Park and asked to make 50% payment which was 5000/-. The payment was made and then we did not receive any payment receipt/confirmation voucher. Upon further interrogation, they asked me to do a very suspicious process of bill registration through Gpay where they asked me to enter 19864 as bill no. in the amount section and click on pay. On my suspicion, they disconnected and never picked my call henceforth. It is such a shame that such a racket is operative with a reputed hotel. I demand serious lookout of the matter by the concerned authorities and help general public reaffirm their faith on tourism.

I made a booking with Hotel Pulin Puri , Puri through their manager who called himself Asish Mishra contact no 8670795328. This contact number was available on the website of Hotel Pulin Puri , Puri. This person contacted me over Whatsapp and shared room traiff and after acceptance their tariff he has sent bank details of Hotel Pulin Puri and asked to make full payment which was 12000/-. The payment was made through GPAY and then we did not receive any payment receipt/confirmation voucher. Upon further interrogation, he asked me to do a very suspicious process of bill registration through Gpay On my further questing he disconnected and never picked my call henceforth. It is such a shame that such a racket is operative with a reputed hotel. Since there was inordinate delay of sending Booking Voucher I had called up hotel again and it was told that they do not have such person avaibale in their hotel . When asked then how that person can asked to pay to Hotel Pulin Puri Bank Account No 09000011000005933 Panjab National Bank IFSC PUNB0322400 ACCOUNT HOLDER NAME HOTEL PULIN PURI they refused to comment and disconnected the phone . As felt suspecious visited Police Station of Konark and met Duty officer Mr Panchanan Panda who was very helpful and seen all our message communications and asked to wait as he further told that matter has already taken up by Cyber Cell Puri . I demand serious lookout of the matter by the concerned authorities and help general public reaffirm their faith on tourism.
