While using Instagram i came across an ad of a clothing website named ‘Brands bae’. The clothes and the offer in that ad looked attractive and appealing. So, i clicked on the order now button and looked at their website.
On the first look the website seemed genuine and looking at their clothes i liked them so i thought to give it a try, also it had Cash on delivery so i thought i am safe from online scam.
I ordered one of their winter co-ord set. At first the delivery took like forever. Then when the clothes were delivered the delivery guy said that it is not our responsibility or headache if the product is not right, this seemed suspicious but the website had refund button and policy so i thought what could go wrong.
When i came in my house and opened the parcel, i was left in shock. The clothes were somebody’s old, torn, smelly clothes. No way near what i ordered. I instantly opened the website and tried refund but the refund button was just a dummy and non-clickable. Then i went to see my orders section where none of my past or present orders were visible. I tried contacting support but the email contact for support were either non-existing or inbox was full which resulted in mails not being delivered.
Then i did a little digging and i found out that the clothes are supplied by ‘Kurti india’. The website was created on shopify so i even contacted shopify support and they created a support ticket and said they would investigate. The emails on the website were:-

2. info.woolywear@proton.me
Both do not work and their phone number on facebook page is:-
+1 (434)-373-0249
This seems to be a phone number in virginia,US, which most likely is a dummy number as well.
I am uploading the images of the clothes and i request everyone to be aware of this fraud.
