Text of Complaint by Jayatsen Sharma:

I received pieces of glass instead of my OnePlus Buds Z2 which I sent for repair. On July 5, 2023, I put up the request for pickup and it was picked up on July 6 by a delivery man from ECOM EXPRESS. I’m aware that the repair takes 5-7 days and the man from ECOM EXPRESS said the same. After a week, when I saw that no progress was happening with my product, I contacted the customer service. They said it’s under works and I will be contacted for payment details shortly. (I have the screenshot of the conversation) On 17th July, suddenly I opened the website and saw that the product has been replaced and was being shipped back to me. I was surprised because I never had to pay a single rupee. The product is not under warranty so a payment is required in order to fix the device. On 18th July, the product was shipped through ECOM EXPRESS and was delivered to me on July 20, 2023. I checked the package as soon as possible and saw that the packaging was from OnePlus and even the box inside said OnePlus on it but inside the box, there are a few pieces of glass. The glass pieces are hexagonal in shape and golden in colour. I rang up the delivery man and said that I received a wrong product to which he replied that I contact the company immediately. I started up a conversation on WhatsApp with the customer care and explained to her (Ayesha Siddiqua, the name of the woman with whom I was talking with) my problem and she asked me to send her a video of me unboxing th product. So, I went ahead and did that. Upon sending it to her, she said that the product had already been unboxed so she won’t be able to help me further, we had a quarrel for sometime and I saw no outcome. I asked her that am I supposed to make unboxing videos every time I receive a product? She said that she understands the problem. So here is my problem. How am I supposed to know that I’ll get a wrong product. Anyway, I proceeded to take this matter to Twitter where I posted everything and tagged OnePlus India and OnePlus India Support. The support page replied and asked me to DM them, which I can’t because they have set their profile to accept messages only from verified people. So, now what I have is the original receipt of the product which I purchased in March of 2022, the service number and the bill which came along with the delivery. Interestingly, the bill mentions a name, Mr. Digamber Bisht who shipped me back the product. The bill also says that I paid ₹2,500 for it which I definitely did not (I have bank statements to prove so). So someone inside the OnePlus service center in Delhi took away my headphones and put in pieces of glass and shipped it back to me. This was the entire case. What do I do next?
