I requested to activate International Roaming on my Vodafone number-+919836694545 on 25th January. After that I received a message that International roaming will be activated on my number by 26th January(screenshot attached). I called customer service regarding this and they said that the service will be activated without any problem.
After that I traveled to Thailand for a long term project assignment for a Software company.
Still my service was not activated. Now they are asking me to submit Rs. 5000 to start the IR. I can’t do that since my bank account is not accessible because my Vodafone number is not working.
I am mailing them constatntly but they are still asking for money to activate the service.
I am in a very difficult situation because of this. I can’t access my bank account, I can’t access my email. And this is very problematic for me since I am out of my country aloan.
This is plain and simple fraud and harassment by Vodafone.
