Incidents
1. After approaching victim and starting conversation using whatsapp or other social media, they Deleting their profile from shaadi.com.
2. Pretending that they work as engineer, or Architect, “in my case she pretends to be Doctor of Medicine (MD)” in canada.
3. Instead of replying of my question, She said she is planning to come to India to meet in persona with me so we may know each other better.
4. She Sent me Itinerary without payment slip of actually booked tickets, it was just flight details, trip from 4th May 2023 to 2 weeks and that was even not certain about trip.
5. so the further incident has not happened yet as arrival date is 4th May 2023, Today I check with shaadi.com customer care about the profile I attached image here, As I was feeling suspicious activity as she was not replying properly and who meets so quick even after 1 week of conversation ? and Major part was Shaadi.com people raised red flag on her profile as the member is “Violated Term of Use” so do not contact further to the that person, I ask them should I report this to anywhere else, they said not needed, Then they also tell in last that “if you still wish to talk you can.”
so, After reading the linked complained raised by @Priyanka, it would be very similar case. as incident hasn’t happened yet but who know on 4th May 2023 I will get a similar call. so I would say Thanks Priyanka for this informative report, now onward I am not gonna entertain any kind of similar calls.
To @CyberCrim Investigators: What about the data in form of Images and text which is real and given by victims to them, which can be miss used and leads to another incidents ?
