I have got a call from the company named REQROOTS TECHNOLOGY where I was offered CAPTCHA Filling work. To do the job I had to sign an agreement which was immediately removed from the link they provided and hence all the helpline numbers got removed too as I was not able to open the link. So basically I thought it was a false call. However, after 10 days wereover, I got a call again from the company’s advocate Mr. Aman Shah who saying that since I did not complete the work , I need to pay the compensation amount. I paid 5400 in INR AND asked them to cancel my contract. But to my surprise they demanded me more money, an amount of 27000. I refused and they threatened me with legal actions and also they want to do handle my bank account. They have sent me a mail again claiming that they have filed a complaint against me. This is totally not acceptable and I hope the consumer court helps me with this fraud.
