Hi Sir/Man,

My Mrs Vibha Nagpal, aged 53 years. I would like to complain about the Fraudulent UPI transaction that happened with me on 17th Jan, 2023. On 16th Jan, 2023, i had a conversation with a person claiming to be Zepto customer care employee and was talking to me about the refund of an item purchased on Zepto.

On the call, he has asked me to download app “Any desk” and have hacked my phone via and created one UPI ID on my Axis mobile Banking app and later asked me to delete that app. He has also made several setting changes to my phone and diverted/ forwarded the calls and SMS from my phone. Considering, i am not that technology friendly, i didn’t noticed all these activities yesterday and continued with my daily routine.

On 17th Jan,2023, he tried via several attempts to withdraw the whole balance from my account and managed to withdraw 8000 INR due to the low withdrawal limit. There is more than 1 Lakh INR in my account. I have currently freezed my account.
