Subject: Complaint against Faction Hut for delivering wrong and fraudulent package
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to file a formal complaint against Faction Hut, a company engaged in online retail, for delivering a wrong and fraudulent package to me. The incident occurred on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at around 2PM, when I received an order that was completely different from what I had purchased.
Details of the incident:
1. Date of Order: June 24, 2023, at 4:21 PM
2. Item Intended to Purchase: “Long-Sleeved Casual Pure Cotton Coffee Shirt Men (Pack of 4) L X 1”

3. Item Received: Upon opening the package, I discovered that the actual order details were different. The second layer of packaging had the following information:
– Shipping Address: Ship To K Sai Chandra Mouli Ji, 14 Burma Street, Madanapalle, Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, INDIA 517325
– Product Name: “Polo Neck 5 Piece T-Shirts Combo Turkey Imported”
4. Contents Received: Upon further inspection, I found that the package contained only two kid-sized shirts of poor quality, which were in no way similar to the Large adult-sized, coffee-colored, pure cotton shirts that I had ordered.
Evidence:
– Order Confirmation: I have attached the order confirmation email from the website where I made the purchase.
– Delivery Communication: I have multiple emails from the delivery service provider, updating me on the status of my order during transit.
– Video Evidence: I would like to bring to your attention a YouTube video [https://youtu.be/ttwnLLLpy-g] where the unboxing of a similar package by Faction Hut is recorded, and several individuals in the comments section have reported experiencing the same fraudulent activity.
Efforts to Resolve the Issue:
Upon discovering the discrepancy, I attempted to contact Faction Hut using the contact number provided on the parcel: +91 96435 02111. However, every attempt to reach them has been unsuccessful, as the number is either switched off or out of service.
Financial Loss:
As a result of Faction Hut’s fraudulent actions, I have suffered a financial loss of 1199 INR. Being a first-year college student with limited financial resources, this sum of money represents a significant portion of my monthly budget.
I kindly request the Consumer Court to investigate this matter and take appropriate action against Faction Hut for their deceptive business practices. I seek the following remedies:
1. Full refund of the amount paid: 1199 INR
2. Compensation for the mental agony, inconvenience, and financial loss incurred.
3. Strict penalties and legal action against Faction Hut to prevent them from further deceiving unsuspecting consumers.
I have attached copies of all relevant documents and evidence to support my complaint. I am available for any further information or clarification that may be required during the investigation process.
